Brevets and brevets series not on current schedules that you might want to know about


Y2K - 2K (The 2000 in 2000) 2000 km. Held in June and August 2000. Organized by Réal Préfontaine and others.

Cascade 1200 1200/1400 km. Held in late June, this ultra distance brevet organized by Seattle International Randonneurs (SIR) has attracted many BC Randonneurs since it began in 2005. In the absence of having its own results, we have our own version of the event's results on the BCR website.

Eau de Hell Week - A 200, 300, 400, 600 km brevet series in 7 days on Vancouver Island. Held annually 2007-2011, and then in 2013 and 2015. Organized by Ken Bonner and others. Returned in June 2019 and 2023 as "Super Randonneur Week", organized by Stephen Hinde.

Princeton Hell Week (...Hell Weekend) - 300, 200, 300, 200 held over four days in early August 2007. Organized by Ali & Roger Holt, supported by Bob & Patty Marsh. Routes, Results, Photos, Summary, Story.

Ultimate Island Explorer 2000 - A 2000 km brevet on Vancouver Island. Held in 2008 and 2009. Organized by Ken Bonner.

Diablo's Triple 1000 Mini-Series - Three back to back to back 1000s on Vancouver Island. Held in 2010. Organized by Ken Bonner.

Super Week - A compressed 200, 300, 400, 600 brevet week with a 1000 beginning on day 8. Held in 2010. Organized by Alex Pope.

White Rock Hell Week (...Hell Weekend) - 300, 200, 300, 200 held over four days July 30-August 2, 2011. Organized by Sigi Palme with routes by Roger Holt and Bob Koen. The Results page includes route and photo links. Or go to WRHW Photo Hub.

Kamloops 6-Pack - 6 X 200 km brevets in six days. Held in 2013. Organized by Cheryl Lynch, assisted by Bob Goodison.

Peace to Parliament - A brevet series (300, 400, 600, 200) that started in Fort St. John and finished in Victoria. Organized by Ron Stewart, assisted by Stephen Hinde and others.

VanIsle 1200 - A 1200 km brevet on Vancouver Island offered in 2006, 2010 and 2014, originally organized by Ken Bonner.

Victoria Populaire - This Vancouver Island favourite ran from 2000-2018, with years off in 2004-2006. It offered rides of 50, 100, and in the early days 150 km. Originally organized by Mike Poplawski.

Coast Maountain 1200 - The July 2020 replacement for the Rocky Mountain 1200 which was cancelled because of Covid-19.
