Vancouver Island What is it? Eau de Hell week is a full brevet series (200 - 300 - 400 - 600km) packed into seven days. There have been three, so far - April 2007, 2008 and 2009. The start/finish for all rides is in Chemainus, south of Nanaimo on Vancouver Island. The 200 km is also the first ride in the regular Vancouver Island brevet series: the always popular "Tour of the Cowichan Valley". The EdH series was initiated by Ken Bonner who still organizes it.
