After a 3 year hiatus, the spring social was back.

The morning social ride, organized by Mike Hagen, was a 60 km circle route that began at Steamworks in Burnaby. We went east on the Central Valley Greenway to Tinhouse Brewing on the Pitt River and then back to Burnaby on paths and back roads, all at a relaxed pace.

The social ride is also the Roger Street Memorial Ride, remembering a core club member who died in 2003.

The evening party, organized by Ron Stewart, was at a new venue: the Marriot Burnaby Conference Centre Hotel. It was an opportunity to acknowledge a number of rider achievements including the presentation of the John Hathaway Trophy (the "Iron Butt" Award), for the club member with the most official ACP/RM distance. The award was presented to Rick den Braber for his 2022 event distance total of 8600 km.
