A few words about the 2007 photo galleries... some highlights.

Up-date 2020:

The acquisition of Picasa by Google wiped over half of the 2007 PBP photos. For later PBPs (2011 & 2015) many of the galleries were automatically migrated to Google Photos. I'm keeping the note below even though most of the "recommended" galleries are gone.

After PBP 2007 a large range of photos appeared on PBP: la Web-tv, the quasi official site sponsored by the start/finish city Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines. The best of these photos are contained in the picasa galleries of two of the principle photographers: Jean-Julien Kraemer and Christian Lauté. All of the Kraemer/Lauté picasa galleries are fabulous.

Ivo Miesen put together a great set of photos in 2003 and an even better one this time around.

The photos from Villaines-la-Juhel could maybe use a little more editing, but the photos in their totality are an excellent portrait of the event as it passes through this one location. No photographer is credited with these superb photos, but there is a good chance that it is Denis Transon who took the photos on the Villaines site in 1995, 1999 and 2003.

My favourite set of photos is Gregg Bleakney's, who was covering the Seattle Randonneurs (SIR). One frustrating thing about the presentation of Bleakney's material is that it is not in chronological order. And this would have been so easy - the images are clearly numbered in the title of the photos.

More recently I've come across the exceptional photos of Jean-Max Reymond. His rider identification is a welcome touch.
