This was the first
BC Randonneur brevet to climb Baker since the original four (Dan
McGuire, Gerry Pareja, John Hathaway & Wayne Phillips) came
here for the 300 km qualifier for PBP 1979. It was sunny and
warm in 2005 - there was snow in 1979. |
