There were two
versions of the Crowsnest 1000 this year - one started in Sparwood,
on Highway #3 near the Alberta border, the other ended there.
There's a big green truck in Sparwood.
On the same June
19 - 22 dates there were two other 1000s - the Island End to
End (on Vancouver Island), and Willy's Puddle (Abbotsford - Williams
Lake - Abbotsford.) Despite poor weather, there was only 1 DNF
and 12 finishers on the four routes. |
