| Your permanent coordinators have approved an alternate way through a section of this route. The east section of North Parallel has heavy truck traffic on weekdays - gravel trucks going to and from Sumas Mountain. Here's how to avoid the trucks. At 84 km turn right on Whatcom Road and cross over Hwy #1. Immediately turn left on south parallel. At 94 km (Yellow Barn) turn right on No. 3 Road and you're back on route. Same route on the return. |
