The 1961 pins comes courtesy of Dutch rider Ben Van Kasteren.

Ben Van Kasteren was one of the early finishers in 1961 despite having the wrong gear ratios and only ordinary walking shoes. He is currently (2009) researching the strong participation of Dutch riders in the 1956 PBP.
