Coastal Inspiration - Permanent #97 - News
Graham has some helpful information about this already exceptional route. EF:
BTW, the road to Port Renfrew has been considerably improved. Lots of new pavement and the new bridge over the Upper Harris Creek is finally finished. I saw maybe 5 cars from Meseachie Lake and return but unfortunately a fair number of logging trucks as several new cut blocks have been opened up.
There is another eatery in Port Renfrew (Tomi's) and I am considering changing the control point during the 300 of Hell Week to this place. They also host the Victoria Grand Fondo held every June and are well experienced with large group of cyclists. They are very keen to do the same for BCR. No beer but lots of fresh baking and good home made soups. as I discovered yesterday.
Unfortunately, I was back to leggings and jacket all day but still very pleasant and DRY!
