A pretty disciplined
paceline for a social ride. The riders in this picture are Stephen,
Carol, Roger, and Ali. "Guys, guys... you're allowed to
ride side by side and chat on this one."
About 70 people
came to the 2003 Annual General Meeting/Luncheon on September
28th. Most of them did the social ride which precedes it. This
year the AGM lunch was used as an occasion to mark the 25th anniversary
of randonneur cycling in BC. Two of the original four founders
were on hand - Dan McGuire and Gerry Pareja - and there was champagne. |
