Amazing Dan McGuire.
Dan was one of the orginal four BC riders (photo) who rode Paris Brest Paris in 1979. This marked the beginning of randonneur cycling in Canada. Dan was the first Canadian to ride three PBPs. Now 80 and with Parkinsons, Dan is still searching out new challenges. He rode the 4000 km from the Alaska border to Portage La Prairie before being forced to stop because of back problems.
