2011 Roger Street Memorial Ride

Casual ride - everyone welcome.

The Sunday Ride Group invite you to the 2011 Roger Street Memorial Ride. It will be held on Sunday, February 27. Start is 9 am at Bean Bros coffee shop on 41st Avenue in the block west of West Boulevard.
(If you wish to have coffee and socialize before the ride, get there earlier... we leave at 9.) Its about an 85 km loop of Richmond (flat). One of us will follow the group to try to make sure no one gets lost. We will periodically regroup. Everyone welcome; if you didn't know Roger we will be happy to tell you about him! There is stop in Steveston for refreshments.

Note re bad weather plan, from Sat. Feb. 26th:

"Roger Event will not be postponed due to weather but may be modified from the proposed ride or may even consist of simply drinking coffee in the Bean. If you come, dress appropriately and if you plan to ride, think carefully about safety above speed as you choose your equipment."
